Summary
The passionate, sarcastic, grief-driven, weary villain we all fell in love with in Shadowbringers is charming, yes, but who was he before his world fell apart? What kind of man was he when not burdened by the aftermath of the Final Days and corrupted by Zodiark's temperament? Honoring his final words to us: "Remember us. Remember that we once existed", I decided to remember him not only as the tortured, misguided man he became, but dared to imagine who he might of been in times long past. Here, I explore the characters Hades/Emet-Selch and Thalia/Azem as well as their relationship together. I hope you enjoy my supposition about Hades' personality during his happiest days, for it has brought me warmth and comfort to write and contemplate him in such a way.

Summary
Emet-Selch has been many things. Underneath all his identities and titles, he was first simply Hades before he took the title of his Convocation seat in Amaurot. Then, in order to usher forth the Seventh Umbral Calamity, Ascian Emet-Selch became the Garlean Solus Galvus. As a powerful sorcerer of eld, pretending to be mortal comes with its challenges - especially when his alias is recognized to be of the non-magical kind. After taking possession of Solus, he enrolls into the Garlean army. Quickly rising in the ranks, however, he becomes a Primus Ordinarius (commander of a cohort) by the age of twenty-two; then one day around this time, in the days just before war erupts, a strange woman is discovered lurking around his camp...

Summary
Following the story of the Warrior of Light (WoL) beginning around when Emet-Selch enters her life. The story follows along major points in Shadowbringers' main story questline (MSQ) and not simply documents the developing relationship between the Ascian and the Hero but also the Warrior's gradual discovery of her true nature.
I strive to be as canon-compliant as possible, and in homage, I've even woven in dialogue/events from Shadowbringers into my plot. There are things that I have changed and assumed, striving to develop both my WoL and Emet-Selch into a complete personality full of strengths and flaws. I would label this work as an Adventure/Romance with a narrative that mostly follows the WoL with a few sections focusing instead on Emet-Selch's perspective.

Note:
I would suggest reading my other works: Remember Us and Glory Be to Garlemald as they are prequels to this story, and the events that occurred in those stories affect Emet-Selch's personality and motivations in this one. You can also expect references to the prequel stories in this work as well; however, The Rejoining can also be read fluently on its own.Series

Summary
Spin-off of The Rejoining (my larger project) describing an intimate moment between the WoL (Nura) and Emet-Selch. I like the concept that though they are on opposite sides (hero vs. villain), they share a lot of the same type of burdens and loneliness. Among the Scions, even when they try to conclude us, they can't fully understand the weight of the Blessing or the pressure we are continuously placed upon to bear that which others cannot - whether it be Primal slaying, Ascian slaying, or Lightwarden slaying. Emet-Selch similarly has no one who can fully understand the encumbrance of being the very last to bear the memories of his people nor the pressure he feels to rectify his mistakes by restoring those who entrusted him with their lives. After a conversation in the WoL's private chambers, they realize that despite their differences and circumstance, they may have discovered common ground after all.

Summary
The enchantment that Emet-Selch had placed on her during their last steamy escapade was taking it's time wearing off. Waking up on a new morning and curious if the spell had finally faded, seeking to determine if the magic still hold sway over her body, she asks Emet-Selch to entice her - fully unprepared for how he would fulfill such a request.

Summary
Takes place after Emet-Selch introduced himself to the Scions and got waved off by Urianger. Warrior of Light (Nura) is back in her quarters, and surprise surprise, Emet appears (like you didn't expect that coming, am I right?) OCs: Nura (Shadowbringers WoL) and Natalia (Emperor Solus' mistress). Both are aspects of Azem. Another shocker, I know. Anyways if you stan Emet-Selch and love yourself the AzemxEmet entangled love story, you'll probably like this.

Summary
I recently posted a chapter in one of my larger work, and during my breaks between chapters, I often treat myself with some completely self-indulgent short stories. A gpose by @RubyEmet inspired me to write this one. Anyways, it's unedited. Posting raw for the hell of it. Enjoy.

Summary
While working on my next chapter for Becoming Mortal, I found myself contemplating an alternate timeline where Solus found Azem's shard after becoming Emperor. Then, a whole scene unfolded before me, so I decided to write it down. Anyways, I broke my own heart with this. Enjoy.
