Summary
Hermes left Styx Beach seven years ago without a word to anyone, least of all Charon. Despite the time that's passed, Charon struggles to get over their short lived relationship, caught between anger over Hermes leaving without a goodbye and mourning over the partner he no longer has. Will Charon be able to reconcile that when Hermes finally returns to the sleepy town, acting like nothing even happened as he tries to rekindle the relationship he walked out on?
A series of vignettes based on an alternate ending to Watch the Tide Come In where Hermes fails to say no to Zeus’ offer and leaves Styx Beach after his time runs out.

Summary
As much as Charon would like to stay in for the evening with Hermes, Nyx is expecting them at a charity dinner and he'd rather they not be on her shit list for missing it. Hermes, at the end of his rope after two weeks of them being too busy to do anything more than kiss and fall asleep in the same bed, concocts a plan to convince Charon to leave early and spend the rest of the night alone with him.
Or, at the very least, fuck him in the car. Whichever comes first.
