Summary
What they have to do at the edge of Tartarus is separate from who they are together back at the House. So Meg has said, more than once, and Zagreus understands. It's a reassuring distinction, knowing that she doesn't want him dead anywhere outside of this chamber. But that doesn't smother the thrill of being hunted here in her domain, where he runs for his life and she gives chase.

Summary
A ripped piece of his chiton, long forgotten, turns up under Megaera's bed one day-or-night. She's rearranging the equipment she stores in leather cases under there when she notices it: a peek of red where it doesn't belong. It figures. Somehow, after all the trouble she went to in order to purge every trace of him from her chambers, he's still worming his way back in.
