She laughed, even as Liara gave her a petulant look. Yet despite that the asari took another bite and after swallowing, poked her purple tongue out at Shepard who only grinned, playfully attempting to grasp it.
Liara quickly moved away, grinning cheekily and taking another bite.
“Hey, I thought the other one was your favorite!” Shepard reached for another bite, protesting when Liara playfully blocked the attempt with her own cutlery, laughing.
“But we should enjoy everything life offers,” Liara hummed, voice deepening, “shouldn’t we?”
