Leighton’s terrified.
It’s probably, somehow, the most common feeling she’s felt since starting college, aside from happiness, due to time spent with Alicia. However, the commonality of the emotion does not make it easier. Her hands still sweat, her heart still beats faster in her chest than it should. Alicia’s presence beside her should help, and it does. But, she can’t help but still be terrified.
