Summary
The Star Sanses are fighting Nightmare and co. when the AU collapses because the creator deleted it mid-battle. (A much more violent end than what Error does and leaves chunks of the AU behind.) Dream's cape got stuck on something before he could get out and he fell with the AU. When a creator deletes an AU it becomes part of the anti-void so Error (who was not fighting) goes to see what got left behind and kill off any monsters that didn't die in the deletion if he finds them.

Blue falls pretty far from the portal and lands in the ocean, hard. He is stunned and his wounds from the previous fight sting in the salty water but he manages to swim to a blurry island nearby. He collapses on the beach and the last thing he sees is a person cautiously approaching.
