Summary
“Are you trying to bribe me?” There was a fault in his voice and Matt kicked himself for it, hoping briefly Deadpool hadn’t heard it, but Matt could sense the grin that formed on the bigger man’s face and he knew he’d been caught out.
“That depends…” Deadpool shifted his weight from the couch to his feet. The sofa gave a grunt of relief. Two steps echoed in the room as Deadpool cleared the space between them. Matt felt the warmth radiating off the bigger man’s body as he drew closer, but he stood still against the door frame and held his resolve. The mercenary’s hands lifted; one went to lift his own mask up to expose the lower half of his face. The other hand extended to meet Matt’s jaw, his thumb resting on the base of the Devil’s chin as the rest of his hand cradled the side of Matt’s neck.
The Devil swallowed thickly as the mercenary leaned in. Matt could feel his entire body want to buckle as the heat from Deadpool’s breath ghosted over his lips and he spoke again in a heavy, low tone.
“...Is it working, Red?”

Summary
Maybe it was better to say that Sundays were for worship. Because even if it wasn’t in a towering Cathedral, one of them at least always spent some time on his knees.
