Summary
Muichirou unwraps a stick of gum and tosses the trash back into the bag, slipping the blue-raspberry-flavored candy into his mouth. “There haven’t been any demon sightings here in two weeks,” he murmurs, looking down at Genya with an unreadable expression, “not really worth having a Hashira stand guard.”
Genya shrugs, shoving a handful of sour gummies in his mouth. “Pretty sure we’re off duty tonight,” he says as-a-matter-of-factly, spitting pieces of candy out and making Muichirou grimace, “isn’t that why we’re here?”
The Hashira shrugs, looking around the area again and blows a bubble thoughtfully. It pops and he explains, “just thinking out loud.” He does it a lot after all, but it’s hard to tell when he’s addressing someone or talking to himself.
Or, on a night off from their job as slayers, Muichirou and Genya find themselves in a park long after the sun has set. There's not a lot to do, and there's too much to talk about, but they don't mind so long as they get to be in each other's company.

Or, its been six months since the final battle with Muzan, and the girls in the Butterfly Estate have been learning to get along ever since. Things have been normal- or about as normal as they can get- except for one thing. Nezuko has been frequently visiting them for three months.
