When he went out as Daredevil, she didn’t follow, at first. He figured she was probably watching from security cameras, becoming extra aware of each one he passed. But one day, she joined him. She was smart, staying a few buildings away from him, but he could hear her breaths, muffled through a mask covering the bottom half of her face, the sound of her outfit, a mix of athletic wear and bulletproof material, as she ran. Matt didn’t sense her as a threat, yet, so let her continue doing whatever it was she was doing for about 3 weeks.

Summary
It had been a couple of months since the fall of SHIELD, and her rescue mission, and it really had taken a toll on their relationship. The Castle case had crashed and burned so spectacularly, taking Nelson and Murdock with it, that all either of them really had was their vigilante work. Matt was focused on fighting the Hand while Carrie was being whisked off from one place to another with the Avengers to take down what was left of Hydra, they rarely saw each other, or at least at times when they were both awake.

She spent most of her time sitting on a rooftop, doing her best to ignore the mess her life had quickly become. She had taken over Matt’s usual patrol as he and Elektra got closer and closer to locating The Hand, still wanting to help the people of Hell’s Kitchen. That night started no different, with Agent perched on a rooftop, listening to the police scanner chatter. Most of it was the usual noise until something major caught her attention.
