Myc is there in his half suit when Greg gets in; waistcoat, shirt and trousers. The sight of his socked feet is ridiculously comforting. Greg just wants to curl up somewhere, very quiet and very safe, preferably with his partner lying next to him. If he's not too busy saving the world, that is.

Afterwards, they settle together, breathing deeply with small smiles playing on their faces. The awkwardness is acknowledged, accepted without any words passing between the two men. Greg’s hand tracing careful shapes onto Mycroft’s chest says enough. The newness and the inevitability of it all is terrifying and relieving and actually just wonderful.
