Summary
There's some very basic truths they teach Vampire Hunters about vamps. 1 - They only live to feed. 2 - They don't care about anyone or anything else but themselves.
So, when a vampire throws himself in front of one of his bullets to save another, Pei Ming is a little intrigued and decides to patch him up.
Nevermind the guy is handsome as hell, that has nothing to do with it, alright?

Shi Wudu was moving before he thought about it, faster than a human eye could follow; it felt like an eternity as he watched the hunter in front of his sibling pull the trigger. The silver bullet burst from the end of the gun in a cloud of smoke.
He Xuan shoved QingXuan behind himself, shielding them with his body.
The hunter fired off a second bullet, seconds after the first.
QingXuan was panicking, long hair flying as they grabbed desperately at He Xuan.
Shi Wudu lunged in front of them, fangs bared at the hunter.
And then the bullets hit him, one after the other; one in the shoulder, one just under his ribs; and the world snapped back to normal time.

Summary
Things aren't always easy between a Vampire/Human couple, especially if when someone's little brother finds out.
Pei Ming isn't ready to call it quits yet though, and he's hoping Shi Wudu feels the same

"Do...do you want me to leave??" He had no intention of leaving, not really, not if he was honest, but the words slipped out with a little more insecurity than intended.
Shi Wudu's fangs nipped at his neck in reproach and he shivered, arousal running down his back, completely the opposite of what his lover intended. "Don't ask stupid questions." Shi Wudu snarled into his skin, and Pei Ming gulped, nodding.
"Then...if you don't want me to leave, I'm not going." He shivered again as Shi Wudu shifted on top of him.
"Fuck you, you're not leaving." Shi Wudu grumbled, huffing and finally bit into Pei Ming's neck. Sharp. Possessive, like he was claiming Pei Ming's skin as his own.
