Summary
“Teach me how to do that.” Miraculously, her voice remained steady. The man, Lord Voldemort, stared at her for a few moments before laughing delightedly, taking her chin in his hand gently.
“I will teach you so much more than that, little one.” His voice had an odd accent to it and she realized he was talking in the same language they talked to the snake with. Parseltongue, he said it was.
Little one. It almost sounded, however impossible it seemed, fond. She felt her heart flutter and leaned into his hand without really meaning to. It was soft and didn’t hurt. No one had ever touched her or talked to her like that before.
Holly already felt herself yearning for more. Longing to make him proud.
She was right. Her life would never be the same again.

She sat forward in her seat eagerly and he smirked at her, a glimmer of nostalgia and greed shining in his crimson iris’, before he hissed his next sentence,
“It is time I tell you of the Chamber of Secrets and the great beast within it that only we — Slytherin’s heirs — have the power to control.”
