There have been small moments here and there, Vegas reaching for his gun when someone steps too close to Pete, his fingers curling into a fist when someone smiles at Pete a little too brightly, an increased level of domination when someone talks to Pete a little too long.
Pete is enjoying these bursts of jealousy and rage from Vegas, finds that the sex is ravenous and filthy between them when Vegas has to prove that no one else will ever get to touch Pete like he does.
What Pete really wants to know is if Vegas is getting off on the jealousy and subsequent rage as much as Pete is.

“You don’t get it, do you? You belong to me. You are mine. Do you understand?” Pete says, placing his hands on Vegas’s chest and pushes. Vegas doesn’t budge, watching Pete open mouthed. “I own you, Vegas. You’re my owner but I’m your pet, this works both ways. You’re responsible for me, you take care of me, but you are mine.”
Pete feels breathless, as if admitting all of this is revealing the most vulnerable part of his soul. He hates it.
Vegas’s expression clears, and when he speaks his voice is dark, dangerous. “Is that what you need, baby? Do you need me to claim you in front of everyone? Fuck you in front of anyone who looks at me so they know who I belong to? How you’re the only one who gets to touch me?”
