Summary
The thing about craving intimacy is that you actually fall in love with anyone that dares cross your path.
You cling onto the short-lived fantasies that you actually can be loved by someone you love back, and you try your very best to not repeat past mistakes. But you never actually learned anything from the past, not when you push it back so deep in your consciousness it only comes back in forms of nightmares and trembling hands at any given moment of your life.
And so, you fall from high above, just to break every bone of your body once again when you realize nobody’s ever there to catch you.Because people come and people go and Atsumu just grew accustomed to being grateful for the limited time he had with the limited love people gifted him.

I know this one, is the first thing he thinks when he finds himself back in his home in Hyogo. He’s got his phone in his trembling hands and tears fall silently on his cheeks.
Sorry Atsumu, I don’t like you like that.
Hope we can keep being friends tho.He looks out his window, and sure enough, it’s pouring. He gets up and throws out his phone before opening the window and breathing the cold air.
Rain is familiar, it’s comfortable, predictable.
