[Part 1]
Luz receives a wrong number text from the internet star, Amity Blight. As her luck would have it, the girl lives only a city away from her and takes an interest in her. While the rest of the world scrambles desperately to discover who the star’s new girlfriend is, Amity and Luz manage to uncover something from the past that indirectly links them together: two untold stories that were purposely forgotten in history by Amity’s family and the authorities.
[Part 2]:
Amity has taken a step back from her internet fame in an attempt to live a normal life with her fiancee, but juggling a job and trying to keep up with the bills without using her internet-earned money has put a strain on her. Not to mention the fact she has not taken the time to grieve after a certain incident several years ago.

She didn't even recognize the person staring back at her through the reflection of the mirror. She wasn’t even spared a single glance, it was like she wasn’t even there. She could walk freely without being recognized.
“You have your mother's eyes.”
It was too late to turn back now. She has nowhere to go and she has a little girl depending on her for survival, because of her own foolishness.
“She's alive.”
The woman tenses beneath her touch, having regained a little bit of consciousness, and Ruby glances over to her, silver eyes meeting with a puzzled, yet disoriented pair of foggy blue. She was still responsive.
“Everything that I was afraid would happen, actually happened.”

“Luz, you’re hurting,” Amity whispers in concern, tears in her eyes, “just let me go, please… I’m sorry… I don’t want you to die…”
Anger snapped through the grieving woman like a whip, cracking and thundering through her. Enraged, fearful eyes met Amity’s worried, golden pair. She doesn’t bother to correct her vision.
Luz raises her voice, “Then don’t make me watch you die, goddamn it!” She lowers back down to a whisper, her gaze never leaving Amity’s. “Please, please don’t do this to me…”
“Luz…” Amity murmurs again.
“I’m sorry, I can’t- I can’t let you… Just let me save you, please.”

“Speaking of your little crush,” Ruby glares back at her, “how would you like to see her live and in person?”The artist scoffs and takes a seat across from her sister, “As if. She’s performing in Vale tonight and Dad won’t let me go!” She grumbles, staring at the plate sitting before her. “I asked for tickets when I first heard she was coming to Vale, he said no because Dawsbury is too far away from Patch.” She lifts the fork up to her mouth. “He’s also paranoid because of the attack that happened in Mistral last year.”
“Well,” Yang says with an unreadable smile, “what if I told you that I have tickets?” Ruby looks up at her with an expression of disbelief, unwilling to believe her sister. Her jaw drops when Yang pulls two tickets out of seemingly nowhere, “You’re welcome.”
