His hands play with the hem of the shirt before slipping underneath to find the bare skin of Kaveh’s toned abdomen. Alhaitham knows of the stars and the blood-stained past of their land. He knows of legends, myths, and truths. He knows of archons and devils. Alhaitham is a wise man with extensive knowledge on many things and he has never been shy to show it.

Summary
Alhaitham has yet to identify this feeling that resides in his chest, this heavy and all-consuming, unpredictable feeling, whenever Kaveh is involved. He wants to open himself up and crack his ribs into tiny chucks, to remove them from their places and peer inside his heart so that he may finally learn what lives here.

Summary
The people of Sumeru are granted dreams, and Kaveh is given nightmares.
Now, Alhaitham does whatever he can to help quiet down Kaveh's mind in any way he can.
“You had another nightmare.”
Kaveh sighs. “Yes, but really, you should一”“Despite what you wish, Kaveh, I won’t go back to sleep. I may lay in bed, yes, but I will be worrying about you instead of sleeping and that seems counterproductive, don’t you think?” Alhaitham rests his forehead on Kaveh’s shoulder, reels him in closer by his waist. “It angers me that you would rather suffer alone than accept my help and company.”
“There’s nothing you can do,” Kaveh mutters, gripping the edge of the fridge door. “I just need to calm down.”
“Then I will wait until you do.”
“Alhaitham一”
“This is not an argument you are going to win so I suggest saving yourself the energy and give up now.”

Summary
Alhaitham finds Kaveh sleeping in his office and decides to have his way with him.
“You can do anything you want to me when I’m sleeping,” Kaveh told him out of the blue as they lay lounging on one of the divans in their sitting room. He lifts his head from Alhaitham’s chest and turns to gaze at him.
The words of the book Alhaitham was engrossed with blur into blobs of black on the page and suddenly, he wasn’t comprehending them anymore. “Where is this coming from?”
Kaveh’s cheeks burned red. “When I fall asleep before we can…” he trailed off. “Sometimes I wake up and I hear you touching yourself.”
“Oh.” The book no longer mattered. He flicked his eyes to Kaveh’s.
“So, you can do anything you want to me when I’m asleep,” Kaveh repeated. “As long as you tell me about it afterward.”
“Are you sure?” Alhaitham asked because he could never be too sure.
Kaveh hummed. “Positive. I trust you.”
And for some reason, that insignificant moment became one of Alhaitham’s most important memories. Those words, I trust you , became the second most important set of words he had ever heard.

Summary
They’re all sitting in Kaveh’s online shopping cart, poorly hidden by another window he’s dragged over the page, as if he’s trying to hide it. He scrolls through the top page, some website he’s definitely pretending to read. Oh, it's cute, the effort he’s gone through 一 albeit not much 一 to try to keep this from Alhaitham, if that is the intention, of course.
He could leave it and see how it plays out, or he could tease Kaveh a little bit.
There’s only one correct option.
