The dad who just watched him come home through the window .
Aizawa stood in the corner of the room, his arms crossed and a stern expression on his face.
The room fell into an uncomfortable silence.
“So you know- actually the front door of the apartament wasn’t opening up so i had to come through the window and-”

As he continued walking while smoking he put his headphones on. He had enough of the silence, he now wanted something, music, to fill his mind and to stop thinking.
It was nice.
It would’ve been nicer if he would’ve heard Aizawa walking behind him.
“Problem child?”
Izuku quickly turned around to look at his teacher.
It would’ve been even nicer if he didn’t still have the cigarette in his hand.
Izuku's heart skipped a beat as he locked eyes with Aizawa, the moonlight casting a shadow over his stern face.
The cigarette hung limply from his fingers.
"A-Aizawa-sensei," Izuku stammered, quickly stubbing out the cigarette under his boot, extinguishing the glowing ember. "I... I didn't expect to see you here."

It was late enough, 12 am to be more specific, for sure Aizawa and Hizashi were sleeping, right?
Apparently one of them wasn’t.
Aizawa was still in the living room looking on his laptop when he heard Izuku leave his room, he turned to look and locked eyes with the green haired boy.
“Where are you going?” Aizawa asked.
Caught off guard, Midoriya froze in his tracks, his heart pounding in his chest. Aizawa's stern gaze bore into him, and he realized that sneaking out was not going to go unnoticed this time.
“A friend’s house, he asked me to have a sleepover with him” He answered normally, like he wasn't lying.
Shouta raised an eyebrow “At 12 am?”.
Izuku shrugged.

Midoriya 'sneaks out' ,well actually he lies about where he's going, to a party.

“You don’t seem like yourself tonight.” Shouta said.
Aizawa pulled Izuku into a comforting embrace, allowing him to bury his face in his teacher's shoulder. Hizashi joined in, wrapping his arms around both of them.
"You don't have to say anything, Izuku," Aizawa murmured softly.
Midoriya bit on his fingers trying to stop crying.
Aizawa gently stroked Izuku's back, his voice filled with warmth and understanding. "It's okay, Izuku. Let it out. We're here for you."
He wanted to tell them he’s little but how? He couldn’t even talk.
Izuku's inability to speak only added to his frustration.
C’mon.
Just say one word.
You can do this.
“Dad-”
Oh lord.

He sat down on the couch and picked up a book about denial.
How stupid can you be to live in denial?
Aizawa's hands trembled as he held the book.
The words on the pages blurred as tears welled up in his eyes, blurring his vision.
Midoriya wasn’t dead.
He let out a laugh.
People are stupid to be in denial.
A bitter chuckle escaped Aizawa's lips, filled with self-awareness and irony. The book slipped from his grasp, landing softly on the coffee table. The laughter, however, quickly transformed into a choked sob.
Oh oh.
Why was he crying?
Everything was fine.
