Day 5 of Star Trek Femslash Week 2023: Jefferies Tubes. (Starting posting a bit early since it's a multichap and day 4 comes after it chronologically, but I tried to retract the latter and it just switched to auto-posting chapter 2 instead like??? So fine, whatever, you get it all at once.)
Prompt only comes into play for the the last scene of these few pages of my S3 bridge wip, but I couldn't pass up the opportunity to force myself to get another chunk more or less finally edited -- Titan accidentally meets up with the Tendu on orders to investigate a situation that turns out to not be the mission they'd expected. Seven's pissed, both for the situation's own sake and because she had really been trying to stop letting Raffi down.
She upgrades the ship about it.

Day 4 of the Star Trek Femslash Week: Treating Injuries. (Starting posting a bit early since it's a multichap. This goes chronologically after day 5, which is probably confusing, but I was hoping to spread out the chapters a bit longer than the week so I don't just spam the ship tag, so I'll probably
flip to regular posting of the chronologically first one and save this for laterget completely flummoxed, discover it's impossible to delete the first chapter of a work, and spam the tag anyway.)In which they save the day, but the victory comes with a price: a half-disabled ship and a very urgent deadline to get across the quadrant when Emira Ohk has to call for backup.
Treknobabble of the medical variety. Serious, life-threatening injuries. Raffi realizing she doesn't care what it looks like, she's not leaving Seven's side.

Summary
The research colony hadn't checked in for weeks ahead of the Titan's scheduled resupply visit, so it was down to Seven, Raffi, and their new science officer to retrieve the expected data dump in person. There was a strong degree of atmospheric interference that, combined with the solar storms that liked to crop up in the binary system, meant it wasn't unheard of to lose contact with them, though not usually for this long.
A long slog through a hot desert later, they stumble across something more interesting.
