Stiles was pretty sure that being secretive about literally everything was just a habit of Peter’s at this point, and unless there was something significant to gain from it, Peter’s default was to never let anyone know anything about him.

Stiles all but springs up in excitement. “A wolf amulet!” he exclaims.
Peter raises his eyebrows at that. “So, an amulet for speed and healing? Not a bad idea,” he concedes.
“Oh,” Stiles frowns. “No. It’s just the enhanced senses."
“Wait,” Peter interrupts, “So you’re going to have werewolf levels of smell and hearing?”
Stiles gives him an odd look but nods. “Well, and sight, but that’s a little redundant honestly, since I already have a tattoo for that.”
Peter stands abruptly, glass clenched in his hand and every line of his body tense. “Well, this has been lovely as always, but I have to go.”
