Summary
Catrina, daughter of Azriel and Gwyn, had her first cycle. A day she simply wished had never came because of the implications that came after. When no signs of inherited powers awoke from inside of her, she couldn't help but feel like a miserable mess despite the Inner Circle's words of encouragement.
A daughter of a Valkyrie and an Illyrian Shadowsinger being utterly powerless. Shameful, was what she felt.
She hates her family's pity and despite being close with the other children of the Inner Circle, she has always felt out of place with them.
The one person she felt she could speak freely to was Nyx Archeron, the High Lord's son. Despite having immense powers inherited from his parents, he understood her fear about never being enough in the eyes of family.
This is a story of the next generation of ACOTAR characters taking place with the same storyline as of my other work: A Court of Dreams and Revelations.

Forced into agreeing by her father and brother, she now had to tolerate them. It wouldn’t be so bad—except for Flynn Albas.
