Summary
Arthur was a Beta, who found himself keeping company with an Alpha/Omega pair.
He knew that Betas weren't considered as valuable as Alphas or Omegas, but it never bothered him. He didn't have any interest in the types of fields they thrived in, anyway.
Just like it never bothered him when Eames would start focusing solely on Daniel when his rut grew closer.
Just like it never bothered him when Daniel started clinging before his heat, needing Eames inside more than him.
It never bothered him afterwards, when he wasn't allowed to be close for a week following in order to not be seen as a threat because Alphas were territorial and the last thing he wanted was to put Eames on alert.
It also didn't bother him when he started noticing some of his favorite clothing start to disappear. He was flattered, if anything, because Daniel was beginning to see him as a source of comfort, too.
It never bothered him because he was a Beta and there were rules he was supposed to follow.
It never occurred to him that things could be different.
