“You were when you saved us from Remus when he turned into a werewolf. You were when you saved me from Dolohov’s curse. As much as you don’t want to admit it, sir, you care about us! You, Professor Snape, are a good man!” Hermione said, heaving with fury.
“I —”
“I said kiss me, dammit!”
They both stared at each other for a moment. He didn’t seem too confident about what he wanted to do. When he didn’t do anything, she sighed and turned around.
“I’ll leave you alone then,” she said, walking off, but felt Professor Snape’s hand clench on hers.
“Give me a break from being slow, witch,” he hissed and kissed her so softly that she barely felt it.
