“I…,” he stutters, probably resembling a tomato. Or a piece of burning coal. He’s so hot in this sweater. “I mean… yes?”
“Are you asking me?” the stranger laughs, crumpling the tissues in his fingers. “‘Cause in that case, the answer is definitely ‘yes’.”

"Your birthday is coming up,” Minho surprises him by saying, “and I know we’re a few weeks away from it, but I probably need to be in Osaka the day after and I was… I was wondering if you’d like to come with me?”
“To go to Osaka with you?” Hyunjin echoes, even more surprised by this. “For your work… thing? What would I do in Osaka without you?”
“Not without me,” Minho laughs softly, brushing his knuckles across Hyunjin’s cheek. “Your birthday is Sunday the 20th, right? We could leave the night before and you’d wake up in Japan and we’d do whatever you wanted to. I could probably take Wednesday off if you wanted one more day, too."
Hyunjin’s heart pounds furiously in his chest, trying to tempt him into jumping Minho in pure excitement while Hyunjin’s brain is trying to convince him to be just a smidge less embarrassing than that.

Summary
As mortifying as the thought of explaining the situation to Minho is, the thought of having to leave to buy products for himself is enough to make Hyunjin feel sick. It’s not even about what other people in the store or the cashier might think, because literally everyone knows someone who gets periods and would therefore most likely need to buy products at one point in their lives, but it’s the private knowledge that Hyunjin needs them for himself that makes his stomach turn in on itself. As little as he wants to talk to Minho about this… It still seems less awful than leaving the apartment to do it himself.
That means that he needs to call Minho. Or text him. Or call, because the vision of words like ‘tampons’ and ‘my period’ popping up on Minho’s screen and staying there until he has the time to read them makes Hyunjin want to scream or die or at the very least throw up and stick his head down the toilet after.
Calling it is.

“Oh, my God,” Minho blurts when he appears around the corner, relief so laughably obvious on his face that it gets Hyunjin’s waterworks going immediately. If he could raise his arms in Minho’s approaching direction, he would. “Oh, baby, look at you. Hi, Hyunjinnie. Hey, baby. How are you feeling?”
“Bad,” Hyunjin laughs through his tears, immediately turning towards Minho and closing his eyes as the older leans down over the edge of the bed to kiss all over Hyunjin’s face - though very carefully. “Not terrible. Just bad. I might still throw up.”

Minho is the equivalent of a Crown Prince around these circles, and Hyunjin?
Hyunjin is the only one he kneels for.

“Promise,” Minho says, even though they have this conversation around once a month. “I won’t stop. I’d be on my knees for you every day if you asked me to.”
“Not necessary,” Hyunjin declines with a small burst of laughter before wiping more tears with his free hand. “Besides, I don’t think your old-man-knees would like that very much.”
“Take that back,” Minho demands immediately, though grinning widely.
