Unfortunately, his plans to angst off into a lonely future where everyone is 'better off' go awry when Jason Todd recovers his original memories and he's not as grateful to Tim for saving his life as Tim would have thought.

Well, he knew how—happy, protected Jason-who-had-no-clue-who-Tim-was had suddenly gotten all of the memories of angry, overprotective Big-Brother-Red-Hood-Jason and had proceeded to kidnap him, just because he was apparently a ‘hazard to himself and reality’. But it had all happened so quickly that he was having trouble wrapping his mind around this new complication.

OP Summary: Kon had a good life. A great life, actually, considering where it had started (a test tube in a lab funded by a supervillain, which was admittedly not hard to beat but still). He went to high school, he lived with his dad (Superman!) and his mom (badass reporter Lois Lane!) and his annoying but adorable younger brother, he spent every other weekend at his grandparents farm in Kansas, and he was also a well respected member of the Teen Titans. Yes, anyone who took a look at his life would say it was a good one. Full of family, friends, fun, privilege, and not to mention superpowers. From an objective standpoint, his life was complete.
So why could he never shake the feeling that something was missing?
