“Why… Hawks. What are you doing? This isn’t you…why are you…? What did you do to yourself?”
I shrugged, letting my shoulders sag down quickly,
“I don’t know. I want to…” I looked up, then gasped at the sight. Half my feathers were lying on the ground, covered in blood.
Why did I do this…?
“I want to, uh, go to the bathroom,” I said, unable to take my eyes away from the gruesome sight.
