It dawned on him then, eyes following the Capitol bird woman leading the two kids away, passing by the doors behind them and stealing any further vision from them. His mother, year after year crying over his shirt, hugging him close to her chest, nearly trying to pick him up in pieces and hide him from the world. His mother, who called him a miracle, stood in front of the screen to smile down at him. So proud, so sad.

Summary
“Touya?” Shouto’s voice came through and it was thanks to that that he realized he hadn’t given an answer yet. Oh well.
“Still here, just thinking what the fuck you just meant by that.”
Fuyumi slapped the side of his arm, quicker than he would have expected, which drew a hiss from his lips. Touya glared at his sister and she just mouthed ‘language’ back. If Shouto heard any of this he chose to ignore it, for his next words didn’t carry acknowledgement towards the weird sounds.
“I need you to punch me before I enter the house,” Shouto gave next, and wow did Touya never expect to hear that coming from his brother’s mouth. He felt more than saw Fuyumi’s eyes widening by his side, but his concentration was fully on the cell resting on top of the dining table, a grin splitting his mouth.
“Hell yes-”
“No!” Fuyumi interrupted, grabbing the phone from the table and bringing it close to her face. “Absolutely not! Shouto, what’s going on?”

Summary
How the rivalry even started, no one was actually sure. Perhaps it started three years ago when they met for the first time members of the other school while trying to get their provisional licenses. Perhaps it started a month ago when the Shiketsu students visited their sports festival and made comments and jabs at their course. Perhaps they had always been waiting for an opportunity similar to this one, seeing as they had been ignoring their sister class and their crazy delusions that they needed to have some sort of competition to say who was better between the two.
Who knows.
The "tragic" story of how kids way in over their heads fall into a series of unfortunate events that somehow end up being in their favor. Aka: Shiketsu lit up a fire under UA's hero course. Chaos ensues.
