Summary
"“Am I… am I having a stroke…? I’m having a stroke, aren’t I?” Leon asks, eyes wide as he looks at the rest of their classmates at their usual table, who are looking as confused and freaked out as he is. Mondo lets his eyes wander the room then, feeling both giddy and nervous when he sees that they’re currently the center of attention of the whole room.
...
“I wouldn’t think so, Kuwata-san. It seems that the esteemed Ishimaru-san and Owada-san have simply decided to merge their beings together to create the ultimate symbol of hope. How wonderful,” the weirdo Nagito suddenly chimes in, cheery voice as grating as always. Mondo turns his glare to the weirdo, but doesn’t say anything, like he usually would. Sadly, while Mondo usually never hesitates to curse the fucker out whenever he’s being his creepy, weirdo self, Taka tends to ignore him, unless he’s breaking the rules. Which he usually isn’t, unfortunately. Being weird isn’t against the rules, Taka always claims.
But then—
“Fuck off, Nagito,” Taka suddenly states boldly, a scowl on his face that is such a good imitation of Mondo’s usual scowl that he honestly couldn't look away even if he wanted to."

It’s his fifth year and Taka is determined to master the Patronus charm, knowing that there is nothing that hard work and effort cannot get him. No, he doesn’t really have any happy memories to recall while casting the charm, but surely that cannot be the only way to produce the charm, can it?
After hours of fruitless studying, his wand refusing to produce even the slightest hint of a wisp, Taka is starting to wonder if he’ll ever get the charm right.
Perhaps the brash Gryffindor Mondo Owada’s offer to assist him in learning the charm will actually help, despite their less than stellar history together… if only Taka could forget their unfortunate interaction the previous year, that is.

Mondo has been feeling down recently as his 20th birthday approaches and yet he's still leading his brother's gang, no real prospects for his future. To cheer him up and remind him of the fearsome biker gang leader he is, his gang brings him a birthday present in the form of a bound and beaten Kiyotaka Ishimaru, the son of the bothersome police chief who has been after them for years. Mondo, to his intense surprise, does not appreciate the gift. Not at all.
Taka, meanwhile, struggles with the inappropriate feelings that are cropping up for the surprisingly caring and gentle biker gang leader, Mondo Owada, who helps tend to the wounds left by his gang. But can he truly trust these feelings when it's technically Mondo's fault that he was kidnapped and beaten in the first place...?

Summary
Taka and Owada are fighting again.
This is sadly not an uncommon occurrence at their prestigious high school, Hope’s Peak Academy. In fact, it’s so common that everyone in the vicinity immediately begins evacuating, knowing that when Taka and Owada begin to fight, nothing and no one gets spared. Neither of them means to get so out of control— Taka especially— but it’s like whenever they see the other, their minds just go blank and abject rage takes over all of their sensibilities. Taka knows this to be the case for him, and he highly suspects this to be the case for Owada, too. The deep rage he can see housed inside those bright, lavender eyes showcases that.
Their battles happen frequently and intensely, every single one leaving Taka with a righteousness burning inside of him that nothing else replicates. There is no one and nothing Taka knows of that drives him to the same extremes that Owada does. No one that gets under his skin, that makes his blood boil so intensely. Taka always walks away from every battle invigorated in the strangest way; his body alive in a way it never is with anyone else.
It’s an addictive feeling.
