Chishiya sighed. This was less than ideal and guaranteed to be really exhausting.Or: They are forced to get over their differences, don’t talk about their past until they do, realise they aren't that different along the way, fall utterly and hopelessly in love, are horrified by that fact, learn to accept that fact and accidentally become the main characters of their own story.

"She hates all men," the blonde man says, petting the cat in his arms like some evil villain.
The cat hisses and somehow- There is something weirdly genderaffirming about being hated by a cat.
—“We book into a love hotel,” Chishiya suggests and Niragi almost chokes on his own spit.
He doesn't panic. Or at least he tells himself he doesn't. Neither while they are closer than he thought they would be, nor while he most certainly likes this closeness. At least the cat seems to accept him now.The hotel purely to spite the parents and two characters hesitantly trying out their first names with each other, Chishiya not being an axe murderer and Niragi not being calamari combined with passive agressive cuddles and sharing a kiss (or a few more).
Or: Niragi and Chishiya meet at “One of those stupid university parties”
