Once she’s upright, Momo places the back of her hand against Mai’s forehead and grimaces. “The medicine should help reduce your fever,” she says, tone much gentler now. Not that she was being harsh before—especially not compared to the treatment Mai received growing up, which never faltered even when she fell ill—but she has softened her voice significantly. Instead of talking to Mai as she usually does, she’s treating her more like a browning houseplant that needs tenderly coaxed back to life.
In any other state of mind, Mai would hate it.
But right now, she’ll gladly sink into the softness.

Summary
Sure enough, Itadori is here with Kugisaki. Megumi doesn’t bother with any sneaky investigating beyond that; he just waits until Kugisaki has her back turned, and then grabs Itadori by the arm and yanks him into the shadows as well.
It’s not exactly comfortable with the extra weight, but it only takes a few seconds before Megumi releases them both several meters away, near the entrance to the bathrooms.
“What the fuck!!” Itadori says, tumbling to the ground.
maki drags megumi shopping, to help her find a gift for nobara. unbeknownst to them, nobara has also dragged itadori shopping in search of a present for maki.
which means it is now megumi's job to make sure both maki and nobara remain entirely unaware of the other's presence

Megumi was successful in paying attention for the first fifteen minutes of the movie, even though it’s not at all to his tastes. But around the fifteen minute mark, Itadori leaned his head on Megumi’s shoulder, and Kugisaki took that as her cue to throw herself on top of them both, so now…
Megumi’s focus has been drawn elsewhere.
Itadori has since wrapped his arms around one of Megumi’s, though his gaze is still fixed on the screen like he hasn’t even realized what he’s doing. And Kugisaki is idly tracing her finger on Itadori’s leg as she watches. It’s all so intimate and domestic that Megumi is seized with the unshakable need to run away. As fast as possible.

Silently fuming, Nobara lowers herself back into her seat. As loath as she is to admit it, Mai has a point. She’s annoying as hell, but she’s not worth getting kicked out of this restaurant. Nobara is better than her. She can keep her composure and prove it.
Besides, she’s only actually met Mai once before this. Maybe they just got off on the wrong foot. Maybe Maki is right in thinking they’d get along, and their first meeting was a fluke. Maybe Nobara should just…take a deep breath and start over.
“Okay,” she says pleasantly. “I’m Kugisaki Nobara; you must be the date Maki-san set up for me. It’s nice to meet you!”
Mai sneers.
Never mind, Nobara thinks. She’s literally the most annoying person on the planet.
