Summary
Kate and Juliet wake up one morning handcuffed to each other in the middle of the jungle, but that doesn't mean they're ready to call a truce. They spend the better part of their day pushing each other buttons, taunting each other, fighting and hurting each other at every chance they get.
When the night falls, after the rain and a bigger threat force them to find refuge, they have no other option but to face each other and deal with the tension that had been building between them since the moment they met.

“What did you tell Jack?” Kate asked.
“Jack?” Juliet blurted out. Jack was about the last thing she wanted to think about while Kate was in her tent in the middle of the night. “About what?” she wondered, a little more softly.
“About us,” Kate answered. Her eyes widened almost imperceptibly at her choice of words. Juliet would’ve killed for a little more light just to see if the girl blushed. Kate was quick to add, “You know. About that day we spent together. About why the hell did we stick together.”

Sometime after Juliet moves to the survivors' camp, Kate pays her an unexpected visit. Kate has some questions, but neither of them can stop thinking about what happened between them the night they were handcuffed together. Chances are they're both thinking about repeating those mistakes. If they can even keep calling it a mistake...
