Catnap was so dead. So, unbelievably dead. He was in a place he really wasn’t supposed to be with some bolt cutters he really wasn’t supposed to have and he could hear an employee coming around the corner.
The footsteps rounded the corner of the long hallway. The employee came into view. Crap, even worse it was Percy. Percy hated the Bigger Bodies but he especially hated Catnap.
...
“Oh I thought I heard voices back here!” Somehow the situation had gotten worse, the bane of his existence had arrived– Dogday.

Summary
Dogday. One of the Bigger Body Smiling Critters. Third success of their line and considered to have minor brain damage but nothing that would stop them from interacting with the children. An adult had been used for this successful one. An employee who was starting to ask too many questions and had just the right personality. It ended up a bit dimmer than the average bulb but it was enough of a success (and the children were beginning to be enough of a handful) that it was released to Playcare. Evidently not as dim as previously observed, if the truly intelligent glint in it’s white pupils and deliberate movement to stay out of view of the cameras was taken into account.
