In this series, I’m taking fanfics I loved that center around miscommunication, lies, secrets, or similar themes, and asking the question: What if it were real? I want to explore what would happen if these plot twists and misunderstandings weren’t just tricks or disguises, but truths that were hiding in plain sight. I’ll also be adding my own spin by including characters I wish had been part of the original stories (or characters that I think could have added more depth). These works may not follow the same plot as their source material, but they’ll always be inspired by the same premise. If the original fic is closely followed, I might reach out to the author for permission, but only if I feel like it would be difficult to change the direction. Unless otherwise noted, these are separate stories. The only things they have in common are: I wrote them, and they all explore a what if scenario.
