Summary
A moment passes. Blue looks down to Dream’s gloves; Blue looks back up to Dream’s face. It feels like he’s at the mouth of an open galaxy: stars shining and burning like they always have and will. But, he isn’t. Dream is here in this sad, dark dingy alley way; Dream is here with a version of his friend who is pained, distraught, and ashamed.
What Blue says next sends a chill down Dream’s spine.
“I think you should kill me.”

“You have wings!?”
It’s almost comical how much Dream’s sockets have widened. And, they somehow manage to widen even further as Ink reaches down, grabs a fistful of snow, and lobs it directly at Dream’s face.
Dream has wings. Ink is appalled that he wasn't told sooner.

Summary
"Juniper..." Blueberror trails off. His brows knit together— deep in thought. He takes another sip. "I like that." For once, he doesn't meet Nightmare's gaze. "I—" he mumbles. "It— It would be a nice name. Juniper."
Nightmare steadies himself. How often had he been there to witness the birth of a new name? He takes a deep breath. Despite everything, he can recognize this for the honor it is. He can feel the power. It tastes like, well, juniper: clear and bright. Dark and shining.
Five times they talked about the nature of names, and the one time they didn't.

Summary
The Multiverse has a Guardian and a Destroyer. It also has its Creators.
The Guardian guards, the Destroyer destroys, and the Creators create.
It is depressing to believe that you are powerless. Yet, this is exactly what the inhabitants of the Multiverse are. They believe that the Guardian protects them and that the Destroyer kills them. They see the Creators as far off gods; Or, they do not see them at all.
They are wrong. They are all wrong.
They are marionette-stringed pawns in the eyes of the Creators. They are actors for an endless show.
And nothing matters, when you are but a simple actor.
Unless, of course:
You can make a good story.
Or: One-third of the multiverse is destroyed. Nobody is having a good time. Ink has seemingly lost his mind, Error is forced to make some concessions, Dream just wants his best friend back, Blue is questioning his morality, and Nightmare and his crew must adapt.

Summary
“Here,” Ink murmurs, grabbing one of Dream’s hands, guiding it within his thoracic cage. The sharp intake of breath- it’s simple cause and effect, with how Dream’s touch ghosts over the sensitive bone.
This had been where Dream had laid the final blow: twice. And, Ink would let Dream touch him here any time.
Defying death itself, Ink has found his way back to Dream.

Summary
“—I’m fine,” Juniper snaps. He takes a long, shaky breath: Nightmare can feel the displacement of air, as Juniper waves him off. “I’m fine,” he repeats, tone placated into careful neutrality. Nightmare frowns.
That’s… clearly a lie. Nightmare shall forgive it, though. Juniper is one of few who deserves such courtesies.
Juniper suffers from an error related pain flare. Nightmare, still learning to live with his new disability, is there to take care of him.
