  Summary

  In which it's Valentine's Day, Sonic's ADHD has him procrastinating having the "What are we" talk with Shadow, Shadow's terminally low self-esteem has him tilting at every windmill (read: nonexistent hint Sonic's playing him) in sight, Rouge advocates for the Slut Era, Knuckles thinks Sonic should consider being less of a horny bastard to look more serious, and the cruelty of a world that never forgets a wrong rears its ugly head to thwart the best laid plans.

  But maybe, none of that ever really mattered, anyway.
