Summary
Crimson never had it easy, anyway. Coming from a planet riddled with already-great warriors and being considered a prodigy had given her a confidence boost since she was young. When a neighboring planet decided to invade due to a lack of resources, her planet was caught off guard, her entire family was considered dead or missing, forcing her to flee farther from home than she had managed to go before. This also made her turn to a life of crime at a young age, earning herself a bit of a reputation. That planet didn't give her much luck. When she got older and decided to finally leave, she fell into a rabbit hole of various, worse crimes.
Now she was hiding from the Nova Corps on their own planet—thinking hiding in plain sight might be the best thing she could do, and it was. Or rather, had been, after getting caught up in a fight with a group of other criminals. Now the Nova Corps had whisked them away to a mysterious prison and what appeared to be no way out.

Summary
This is a funny little fanfiction which takes place between Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1 and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2! Im writing it as a placeholder between these two movies, it's a bit more unserious and not filled with angst! I wanted to make something like this so people have an actually happy fanfiction to return back too- I have a lot planned.
Anyways please enjoy! This is based off of the Cosmic Rewind ride that's in Disney World!
I apologize for how short this is! It's more of a placeholder between movies and there wasn't much for me to write about considering that most of the ride doesn't even take place in the battle, its mostly pre shows.

"Crimson Tide. The last of the Volani after a neighboring planet—Zorix—conquered and murdered millions on her planet, enslaving the rest. She managed to escape by stealing a ship that her family hid far in the woods after rumors of rising tensions between the two planets had been announced."
She rolled her eyes and walked off, her chest paining her after the reminder of her family. Crimson hadn't been sure how much they scrawled into their databases, or what they could dig up on her past. Apparently, more than she'd assumed.
