Weeks priorly, Liam had said it first, casual and unafraid, like it was the most obvious thing in the world. It was a whisper, meanwhile he was barely awake, sliding away from his fleshy lips. The warm breath carried the words away with it, crashing against his neck cavity. Liam's messy hair were tickling his chin but Damon couldn't feel anything. Could not even feel his body.
He felt like witnessing the scene from outside, like he was floating out of his mortal remains.

Damon's notebooks always live in the bottom of his backpack, under his bed, sometimes on the floor near his desk. Lyrics, drawings, cut out from the press and his angry comments on the side, shopping lists sometimes, wine stains. Many things stacked inside too: ripped pieces of paper, setlist drafts, tickets used for taking notes when he couldn’t reach the notebook, almost every page is dog-eared into oblivion.
Inside them, for the longest four years of his life, Damon tried to exorcise what has been haunting and tortuing him untill it physically hurt.
