Summary
Drowning is surprisingly calm and quiet. Water replaces air in your lungs, your body shuts down. Your throat seals, your treading stops. You’re trapped in eerie silence, unable to call for help no matter how loudly your mind screams. All you can do is wait as you’re gradually pulled under.
But you survive.
And you discover that drowning in madness isn’t much different—it just takes longer. You’re trying to redeem your past, but your own mind is destroying you from the inside as you struggle to keep from drowning.
A look inside Blake’s head before she arrived at Beacon, during her obsessive search for the White Fang and Torchwick, and after the attack on Vale.
