Summary
William Boimler and Beckett Mariner had ended up in the same bar on shore leave, amongst dozens of their peers. They'd drunk truly vile bloodwine together. Beckett wanted to talk to Bradward Boimler, who she'd had a brief video call with. She'd saved that conversation for a "happy and sober time."

Brad was still technically on shift, making sure shuttles were ready to go. They had fifteen minutes till launch of the first wave of Beta shift. The last shuttle was nearly full.
