Set in the summer of UC 0066, a snapshot of Char Aznable's (specifically the version of her in my fic "No Other Way") childhood among the wealthy political class of pre-independence Munzo, suggesting how experiences then might lead into what (s)he goes through as an adult.
Casval is six, his sister is three, Garma is five or six, Kycilia is 11, and the older Zabis are teenagers.
I really have to warn you - this is all sad and at no point does the sadness let up.

Summary
In the aftermath of the Laplace Incident, finally free of the man who wore his face, Mineva Zabi travels to Earth seeking a clearer picture of the enigmatic and mercurial presence that looms over her earliest memories: Char Aznable, the Red Comet.
What she finds is a loose association of the few people who remember Char not as a symbol of Zeon but as a frightened, confused human being, and the political tangles that continue to ensnare them, in the wreckage of the Universal Century and its revolutionary aspirations.
