Summary
This is a love story. It’s not a tragedy. Well, actually…okay, it’s a little bit of a tragedy, too. But tragedies end in death, and though there’s death in this story, it doesn’t end there. Maybe it’s a comedy, but though there are marriages in this story as well, it also doesn’t end there either.
Devon Scout doesn’t see "Gemma Cute TA" for eleven whole years. They spent seven months together, then eleven entire years apart. Then her brother finally gives in and agrees to invite his new girlfriend over to Devon’s for dinner and Gemma Cute TA shows up on her fucking front porch holding her brother’s hand.
Which leads us back to the earlier point: that this is a horror story, probably. And this is just the beginning.

Summary
Gemma isn’t the same.
Which, Devon guesses, is to be expected. She’s been held captive in Lumon’s creepy ass basement for two years, after all. She needs a metric ton of therapy—and to sue the shit out of Lumon (at minimum). But the difference isn’t just that.

Post-Cold Harbor, Devon takes Gemma back to her home and finds out that they're not exactly alone.
