Summary
Another problem for the Gokudera of now is to attain tampons. She puts more toilet paper as a quick fix and then she gets ready for school, not bothering to do anything fun with her hair or makeup, and only slipping on the rings and bracelets she had loose in her schoolbag as she makes her way out of her apartment. A late-arriving fall; the weather is beautiful, crisp. It's unfair. It should be raining sheets and cold, or brutally hot, or something. With it this nice, Gokudera feels her body far too much, the uncomfortable makeshift toilet paper pad, the pain running through her guts, the unwanted slosh between her legs. She ruffles in her bag and finds a painkiller, loose—at least she thinks it's a painkiller—and swallows it dry. This makes her realize she's thirsty, too, and unusually hungry. As if on cue, her stomach growls. She lights a cigarette to try and silence it.
Overall, she's in a pretty shitty mood. Even by her standards.
This mood gets worse when she rounds the corner and sees Yamamoto.
