During a reunion party hosted by Howard Stark, the Howling Commandos, Peggy Carter, and George and Winifred Barnes witness a great working of science and fate.
It was then that a body flew through the opening of the tear, thudding painfully some feet away from where it had come through on the wooden floor on the room.
Whipping her gun arm up, Peggy trained her sights on the—man, she identified—on the ground. Breathing heavily, he quickly leapt to his feet and whirled around, a knife suddenly appearing in his grip.
While his clothing was odd and unfamiliar, his face was known to her.
"Sergeant Barnes?" Came a gasp from behind her from Corporal Dugan.
