Summary
December 2024.
Time doesn’t heal all wounds. A month has passed since the last game. Gi-hun has more scars than he did last time he found himself at an airport, both on his skin and in his soul. This time though, he does get on the plane.
You don’t trust people because they deserve it. You trust them because you have nothing else to rely on.
He had told this to Sae-byeok once, and he still stood by it.

Summary
Seong Gi-hun wasn't a Fallen Angel. He was a wounded one. An angel with broken wings, who might not have been able to fly again, but that didn't make him less beautiful or less kind. He hadn't needed wings to save that child, he hadn't needed wings to save In-ho from himself.
And he wasn't going to need wings to save himself either.*
Season 3 fix it where the Hwang Brothers - especially In-ho - take care of a broken and wounded Gi-hun.
