Summary
Jaiden has spent the past four years of her life inside the camp system. From a regular psi at a normal camp to the top-performing Red in Project Jamboree, she's seen it all. She knows her life is nothing but drills, training, and torture, but every day she stares up at the mountains surrounding her camp and wishes she had the courage to run. Maybe that's what brought her to the fence one fateful night, that dream of freedom.
Once in the outside world, though, Jaiden learns what it means to be a Red and how those around her really view her color identification. She knows Clancy's true motivations behind East River, no matter how much he lies to everyone about the hideout's purpose. Jaiden must rally her friends, dangerous ones and not, and do everything in her power to stop this plan from coming to pass.
