“Are you alright?” Goldel asked with faux concern. “You were in there for quite a while.”
Okay. Sure. Ignore the fucking tear tracks on his face and his stained clothing. Sure.
“The scholarship.” Blu grits out, a sense of shame and defeat swirling inside of him as he watches Goldel’s smile stretch wider. “Tell me more about the scholarship.”
Or: Some dominoes were smacked around by a stray cat in an alternate universe. This is the result.

Summary
“And this is…?” the shop employee asks, slowly.
“My partner.” Goldel says, and the way he does makes Blu want to punch him in the face.
He doesn’t. Instead, he pinches his thigh tighter and puts a smile on his face.
“We’re here for a suit.” Blu says, trying to give them his best smile. From the way Goldel glares at him, he probably failed.
“Something that suits him.” Goldel says with the same tone that means ‘something to show that he belongs to me’, and Blu watches as the attendant glances over Blu’s well worn sweater, his ill fitting trousers and notes the wear and tear of his second hand clothing and comes to the realization that Blu doesn’t belong there.
Or: If Blu is going to be in the Student Council, he needs to look the part. And money is nothing for Goldel.
