Summary
Kaoru Sakurayashiki had never imagined himself with a family. His own parents had been stuffy, with high expectations and strict punishments whenever he didn't meet them. While he was sure he'd make an effort not to turn out like them, one could never be too sure.
There was also the issue of there being nobody worth having a family with. Kaoru entertained the occasional relationship, but most never even reached the point of him calling them his "partner", let alone broaching talks of marriage or family.
The thought of having kids of his own never even really crossed his mind.
That is, until a flock of them made themselves known at S, and suddenly he was offering sage, adult advice, chaperoning trips, and had even earned himself the nickname 'mama', much to his chagrin. And of course, when Kaoru became 'mama', so in turn did Kojiro become 'papa'.
Honorary mama and papa of S become actual parents when Kaoru gets pregnant. The ticking time bomb of a baby on the way forces them to figure their shit out in a timely manner, even if they've done everything out of order.

Summary
Kojiro had always imagined that at some point in his life he’d be a father. For a while, this had been a thought plagued by worry that there was someone out there with a kid that was his, despite his best attempts at being careful. Then, it settled into his chest as a distant want as more nieces and nephews were introduced into his life, followed by the arrival of the teens at S who had practically adopted him as their dad.
Finally, that distant want became a reality when the initial worry came true, but with his best friend, Kaoru, of all people, and not some random fling. Complicated and messy, Kojiro wouldn’t exchange the whole ordeal for anything.
Because now he got to wake up every morning to Kaoru, who was someone he got to call his. His beautifully terrible Kaoru, who made his life so difficult, but he couldn’t imagine doing any of this without.
He also got to wake up to the wails of their daughter, Sayuri, and they’re lucky if it’s actually in the mornings.
Kojiro and Kaoru become parents, and experience the many ups and downs of raising a daughter.

Summary
“I stopped taking the pill a month ago, before the wedding,” Kaoru explains as Kojiro climbs back over him, kissing him. “And I may have had Carla track my ovulation, and planned our honeymoon accordingly.”
Kojiro grins as he pulls away, staring down at Kaoru in amazed disbelief. It was just like him to plan this all down to the most minute details. He wouldn’t be surprised if there was a sudden timer at the end of the week, Carla counting down the seconds until the end of Kaoru’s fertility window. “You’re insane.”
“I’m not letting it surprise me this time,” Kaoru hums as he pulls Kojiro down for another kiss. Kojiro smiles into it, his teeth clacking against Kaoru’s before angling his face so their tongues touch instead.
