Summary
Kon decides enough is enough. He needs to do something about his stupid feelings for Tim. He’s seen other people do it before, being flashy and glamorous, but his time around Tim had taught him he wouldn’t like or appreciate that. So he’d take it slow, to not rush Tim.
Only problem is Batman keeps undoing all his good work.

Summary
One of the first things Kon ever did, with or without knowing, was memorize Robin’s heartbeat.
So when something in him shifted one night, something felt inherently wrong, he couldn’t figure it out for a moment. In his confusion he reached out to latch onto his one staple, and found it was missing. The immediate panic that followed had him halfway to Gotham before he so much as blinked.

Kon has Robin's heartbeat memorized, so when he suddenly can't hear it anymore, he panics. Superboy sets off on a rescue mission to an unknown planet without a moment's hesitation. When he return's Lex forces him to go to a gala, but hey, at least he meets a cute boy there!
What will happen when Kon's 'failures' push Lex Luthor a step too far?
