When Rose isn't able to visit Shane before the end of summer 2017, she instead invites him out to LA for a couple days to be her date to a premiere. It all sounds great. Shane hasn't seen Rose in a long time and he can't wait to catch up. It's been two years since Ilya Rozanov told Cliff Marlow he was leaving Boston to be closer to a mysterious person named "Jane." He's done a great job of keeping that information to himself, but when Rozanov calls him and invites him to Montreal to help coach at the hockey camp he's starting with Hollander, Marlow can't help but think the two things are connected. Is he finally going to get to meet the woman who got Ilya Rozanov to join the worst team in the league?
Marlow has proven he can keep a secret. He's earned the right to meet "Jane" and finally know why so much of Ilya's life as been secretive. But what's going on might be a little bit too much for Marlow to process, so Ilya has a plan: leave a trail of breadcrumbs that leads right to the answer and let Marlow figure it out on his own. After all, he was able to piece together that Ilya was leaving Boston without any help, so how hard could it be to get him to put together Jane's real identity?

Something is off about Shane Hollander.

Ilya Rozanov has signed with the Ottawa Centaurs and the world is very confused.
Zane Boodram is probably the one person affected the most by this shocking turn of events and it couldn't come at a worse time. His mentors and fellow captains are gone, and he's been left to lead the worst team in the league by himself, which is bad enough, but now he has to deal with Ilya Rozanov joining the roster?
The Cents don't have a winning legacy to protect, but they do have a positive team culture built up over years by their previous captain. Bood is determined to make sure that all the work doesn't go to waste, so he's not letting the Russian Menace come in and change it.Leaving Boston was supposed to be easy.
Ilya wasn't supposed to feel bad about. And he doesn't. Not really.
This is a good thing. A new team. The start of a new life with Shane.
But the Ottawa Centaurs are a mess and things would be a lot easier if Zane Boodram would stop being so weird about it all...Series
