Summary

Not only is the sun dying, but a vampire plague is sweeping the earth in tandem.
Eva Stratt was chosen to lead the Petrova Task Force, to effectively lead the charge to save the world. The job requires her to be unflinchingly ruthless and selfless in turns. The ends justify the means, as long as the end result leaves the earth saved.
Then the Worst Case Scenario happens. She’s turned.
The Vampire Eva Stratt is different from the Human she once was. You see, Vampires by their very nature are Selfish Creatures. They have to be in order to function and survive.
What does selfish (and bloodthirsty) look like on the most powerful woman in the world?
(TLDR: Highly self indulgent Vampire AU. Vampire Stratt! Her & Graces weird secret third thing getting SO MUCH MORE STRANGE.)
(Edited as of June 28th 2026. Mostly I just fixed the tense situation, so now everything is uniformly in past tense, and made sure it flowed better. Also I messed around with the chapter titles a bit.)

After Grace dies of old age after a long and happy life on Erid, Rocky and Adrian break physics because a handful of decades was NOT enough time!
The Eridians band together and figure out Time Travel! They've come back in time to pick up their emotional support squishy space blob!
And also give earth the solution to the Astrophage Crisis, because that still needs doing.
Rocky & Adrian have also held a hell of a grudge against Stratt for her betrayal of Grace in the first timeline. As champion grudge holders they are taking the opportunity to be petty and ominous in their interactions with Stratt & the task force.Series

Summary
Due to an experiment gone wrong Simon, Ava, and her crew of two end up getting pulled through a wormhole into an Eridian Science lab. They make a whole lot of wildly incorrect assumptions about where they are and the situation they're in, and immediately try to escape. They also run directly into the only other human on planet, however Dr. Grace just lost his voice, so unless everyone gets very good at charades very quickly he's not going to be able to clear anything up until he gets his hands on something to help him communicate.
However, considering the world they're coming from, even after he can communicate clearly--the odds are not looking too good that four wildly traumatized and distrustful individuals from a dystopian hellscape world are going to take anything he says at face-value.Series
