Notes:

This trilogy gave me so many emotions when I was a kid, and TMNT 2012 was my first fandom, one I still return to again and again. Why not combine the two? Here we go.

For those unfamiliar with the source material, here's a bit of background.
A few years ago, the artist GolzyBlazey created a TMNT 2012 fan comic called Behind the Darkness. The story follows Mikey after he joins the Foot Clan. It was later followed by two sequels: Night Protector and New Life.
New Life introduced a character named Milo, who is a clone of Midnight (an alternate version of Mikey). The Midnight trilogy also involves demonic forces, although the lore surrounding the demonic curses was never explored in great detail. The comics are also known for their many intense fight scenes and graphic violence.
In this fic, where Mikey meets a ghost in the farmhouse, I'm using Milo from the post-canon events of New Life. In my interpretation of what happened after the comic, Earth was consumed by a demonic apocalypse—because every TMNT universe deserves at least one apocalypse. 😄
Milo was the last survivor. After his death, he somehow found himself in the original TMNT 2012 universe.
And that's where this story begins.

As far as I know, GolzyBlazey's DeviantArt page has been deleted, but reuploads and fan translations of the comics are still floating around online.

I write in Russian and then translate the fanfic into English.
